The class of ‘63 had a great 55th reunion on Saturday, August 18, 2018. I hope you were one of the lucky attendants! The reunion was held in one of the hangars at the Owatonna airport which was super cool in two ways. First it was a great place to hang out—lots of space for greeting each other as well as for sitting while eating. Second it was cool in temperature with wide open doors big enough for an airplane! Some of your classmates went all out in preparing for the reunion. Jerry Carstensen arranged for the space and, along with Jon Simon made it spotless. Jerry and Jon also organized the classic car show outside the hangar. Kathy Lembke and Judy Kretlow dug out the most recent contact information for many of our classmates, purchased and served the food and created the “Lives Remembered” display at the reunion. Mary Carstensen helped with the decorations and posters as well as kept Jerry sane! Mary Helen Pelton gave an inspiring and humorous address at the reunion. And finally Ron Eustice produced the most recent in a series of annual class newsletters. Additional copies of this booklet and previous Class of 1963 Updates can be purchased through Amazon. A big thanks to all these volunteers for helping to make our 55th reunion a success! And of course the reunion was successful because all you attendees went the extra mile to be there.
Thanks for coming!
